The current location: News>>Apple is about to use micro LED screen
According to a report from DigiTimes, Apple plans to launch an iPhone equipped with a microLED screen, which has higher brightness, lower power consumption, and further improves its quality compared to OLEDs. According to the report, Apple's microLED screen technology roadmap began with the Apple Watch and was later applied to the iPhone and iPad. Industry insiders predict that by the end of 2024 or 2025, the Apple Watch Ultra will no longer use existing OLED screens and will be replaced by Apple's self-developed microLEDs. This is consistent with Apple's OLED screen technology roadmap. The first Apple device to use an OLED screen was the Apple Watch, followed by the iPhone X. Next, Apple will launch the first iPad and Mac products to use an OLED screen. Therefore, the first iPhone equipped with a microLED screen may be launched as early as 2026 or 2027.
